Welcome to the Tucson Convention Center Mobile Application (App). Except as otherwise provided herein, the App is owned by the Rio Nuevo Multipurpose Facilities District, an Arizona tax levying special facilities district (District). Although District owns the App, it and related services are provided to users through District’s Licensees. The App is provided, operated, maintained, and monitored exclusively by District’s Licensees. Those Licensors include Rypplzz, Inc. and TruXperience LLC.
When you choose to access and use the App, you will necessarily have to provide certain personal information, some of which will be collected. All collected information is solely for the benefit of the District and its Licensees. The District does not directly collect or use any such information. District and its Licensees will not sell any personal information you provide or which is collected from you.
This Privacy Policy is intended to advise what information is collected from you and how it is collected, disclosed, used, and protected. By using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. When used in this document and unless stated otherwise, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean District and its Licensees.
We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and other contact information when you create an account or make a reservation through the App and when you log in to your account. We may collect information about your mobile device, including device model, identifiers, IP address, browser type, OS, configuration, settings, and information about third party applications or software installed on your device. We may collect usage information, that is, information about how you use the App and your interactions with content and services. With your consent we may also collect precise location information from your device to provide location-based services.
Information collected may be used to provide technical and customer support, to improve, personalize, and enhance user experience, and App functionality. We may use such information to communicate with you about your reservations, events, and updates. We may use collected information to develop and distribute promotional materials and special offers if you have opted-in to receive them. Collected information may be used to analyze and improve the App's functionality and to provide information to comply with legal obligations.
If you opt into the App’s geolocation function, we may use information about your device location while you are using the App to improve and provide a secure, efficient user experience. If you elect to use the background location-tracking function, we may use such information while you are not directly using the App or obtaining services through it. Location information may be gleaned from several technologies including GPS, Wi-Fi access points, mobile/cell tower triangulation, and patented hardware and software technologies.
As needed, we may share your information with outside service providers for the purpose of repairing, upgrading, or maintaining service and functionality. We will share only such information as is necessary to obtain the needed services. We require all outside service providers to comply with this Privacy Policy and we contractually obligate them not to disclose or use your personal information for any other purpose.
Some collected information will not have any personal identifiers associated with it, and some will have personal information associated with the user. We may anonymize personal information in order to share it with third parties for industry and market analysis. We do not share personal information with any third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Once you open an App you will be able to access and update your personal information and modify your choice for Notifications through your Account Settings/Profile at any time. You may also opt-in allow location tracking while the App is not being used.
Your use of the App signifies your agreement to this Privacy Policy and your consent to the collection and use of personal and non-personal information about you and your App use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not open an account or use the App or any services provided through it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We keep your personal information for as long as we need to in order to provide services to you and fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy. We will require that anyone we share information with also take reasonable measures to protect such information for unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
When we no longer need to use your personal information and there is no other need for us to keep it, we will either remove it from our systems or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. We will take commercially reasonable and technically feasible measures to make such personal information unrecoverable or unproducible.
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the App, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us, and we will promptly delete it and close any account through which unauthorized use has occurred.
We reserve the right to modify and update this Privacy Policy at any time without advance notice. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page.
